Hello all together, i just passed my SCPJ2 exam on 7. august. Now i'm looking forward to take the Developer exam, since I am a software developer with a some experience. I started with programming when I was 11 years old. Now I am 24. My first language was BASIC. Later on i continued with Pascal, C, C++, Java. I started C++ when I was 18 and Java when I was 20. I've written fractal programs, a system extension, later a full-featured GUI- and Database software to compute image mosaics in C++. The project was more than 10000 lines of code. I've read some books about object oriented program design and I developed WebObjects-Application-Server applications with database access using Java, Apple's EOF and also some JDBC. I have not got much experience with GUI programming using Java but still some and also some experience programming C++ GUI applications for the Macintosh platform. I'm german, so proberbly this will be a difficulty, too? My Question now is: How much time and power will I have to invest so that i will pass the SCDJ2 exam, or pass it with a good score? And how many lines of code will the assignment be? Thanks in advance!
