Do you really need a MenuBar ?????

What would you put in the menuubar?? I thought of Help, exit
what else have you all used it for??

One of the conditions of the Exam is that you make it possible for the client GUI to connect locally (i.e., within the same VM) or remotely to the server source. That'd be a good candidate.
If you want to score the maximum points you can, you might add a menu bar with some grayed out options to show you know how to do it. I would most certainly include as a menu item a complement to every JButton on the GUI. Even more, I'd put in a key accelerator too, to make those mouse-resistant exam graders happy.
