Hi,
I just downloaded my assignment and I am reading through it. In wriring the Data Client section, the requirement says:
"To connect to the server, create a client program. This implementation should include a class that implements same public methods as the Data class, although it needs different constructors to allow it to support the network configuration"
It may be a dumb question (I still have to understand it well enough)- would'nt RMI stub deployed on the client provide access to public methods of the Data class on the Server? What is the need to implement the public methods of the data class- does this refer to implementing the lock, unlock, find (assuming we implement some of those on client side)???
Thanks in advance for any pointers, ideas
