Here are some of the questions i am having comfusion
about.
1. Is DNS name necessary to be taken while starting
the Remote Database Server as we can hardcode the name
localhost. Assuming the fact that the server program
will be run on the server.
2. The specification says you may not modify db.db, but
may move it if we wish. If we can't modify it, how do
we book seats. I am just decreasing the value of the
available seats.
3. Can record locking be implemented without synchronizing
on an object that holds all the locks. I think synchonizing
on this object results in a small delay between two threads
locking two different records. But i guess it is safe
and will work for the project.
Any comments will be appreciated.
