Hi, I was wondering what kind of application is the developer assignment. Is it an Applet or stand alone application?
Also, just wondering what are people's view on using sockets or RMI for client-server communication. And not just because using one is easier than the other.
Thanks

Stand alone application. Most use RMI, probably because it is easier and maybe because they want experience with some form of middleware.
