My business logic (i.e. call to lock, modify, unlock) is done on the client side. I want to cause a timeout to the client if the lock() call to the server doesn't complete within a certain amount of time. Then the user will be notified the booking has failed.
Has anyone done this? What was your general strategy? I assume I'm going to need a Timer, create a new Thread, and use wait()/notify() but I'm not sure of the organization of these things. Thanks.
