hi
The binary file for the assignment when i tried to display the values using Data class it displayed the following line without spaces.
158924Flight number5Origin airport3Destination airport3Carrier25Price6Day3Time5Duration7Available seats4-1061111106158
Then i tried to break it down using string identifers (like
Header length(UTF) so anything before : is my constant
and UTF and int are formats of read by Data Class
Header Length (int): 158
Feilds (int): 9
Record Count(int): 24
Field Name(UTF): Flight number
Feild Length(int): 5
Field Name(UTF): Origin airport
Feild Length(int): 3
Field Name(UTF): Destination airport
Feild Length(int): 3
Field Name(UTF): Carrier
Feild Length(int): 25
Field Name(UTF): Price
Feild Length(int): 6
Field Name(UTF): Day
Feild Length(int): 3
Field Name(UTF): Time
Feild Length(int): 5
Field Name(UTF): Duration
Feild Length(int): 7
Field Name(UTF): Available seats
Feild Length(int): 4
MAGIC Number(int): -1061111106
File Pointer(int): 158
Please can any one tell me how the 158 bytes which file pointer points to can be accounted by the above information
