Garry

as per the posts that i have read on this site..
the examiner will do all that you ask him to do.
and starting the rmi registry automatically, or askin the examioner to start will not cost you any marks..

But starting it in code, will also close it when the server closes. and isn't hard to put in your code.

But how does it closes. By closing do you mean when it is garbage collected.
I had earlier tried to create the registry and it was working fine. The only problem was closing it.
If you could give me the links/hints to info, i would be thankful to you.

When I issue a System.exit(0) in the server code, it also closes the Registry.

Is there any other way besides calling System.exit(0)
