My server class extends UnicastRemoteObject and implements an interface that contains all the public methods found in Data class. I've added the word synchronized to all these methods in the server class and I've implemented lock/unlock using a HashMap. Is this all I need to do to make sure that my server is thread-safe? I can't think of anything else, therefore any suggestions/questions are welcome. Thanks! [ January 09, 2002: Message edited by: emil dragan ]
