Rules round up for SCWCD

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
As i study for my SCWCD i was thinking how good the rules round up page was for my preparation for the SCJP. So i was wondering, and it has probably been asked before, would it be easy to adapt it for SCWCD questions???
Compared to SCJP there is not as much in the way of resources out there for SCWCD (i know it is viewed as being easier), and thought that this might be a really cool addition to the site.
P.S. Apologies to Cindy Glass, i was supposed to have done the sitemap by now, but with the SCWCD and work getting busy im afraid it has been relegated to my todo pile, although i have started it  and it will get done sometime soon, i hope

Sooooo, when you are done with that SiteMap, are you going to format the questions for this new game?
The idea is cool - getting someone willing to put THEIR time into it is always the problem .
But that is all right . . . we will wait for YOU .

Rats, i expected that kind of answer from you Cindy
It was just an idea, after all thats what this forum is for isnt it??? I will put it on my to do pile(which is starting to look precarious), but thought that it might be something that might be fairly easy to do. Out of interest who did the first one???
Maybe we could run a forum of some kind to get people to email in questions and answers which could then be vetted and used in the applet???
Just an idea, anyway i had better get back to study, but ill keep an eye on it
By the way whats a spitfire shot / sheriff ??? whats the diff from a normal sheriff???

What do you mean by format?
How much time do you think it will take?

Acutally "format" mean that somebody has to WRITE the darn questions first (in the form that can be put into the tool). So far nobody has volunteered to do that.
You volunteering? Since Sam is still busy with that Site Map . . . .

Sorry, sorry, sorry - I don't usually follow this forum. I see I am missing some nasty intercourses though. I did not need those anyway.
How many questions do I have to write?
It's been a long time since I did the rules roundup seriously. I got a silver spur in one round today. It looks like the questions need to be single-answer-multiple-choice is that correct?

We would need about 100 questions, as you described, single answer or true/false. They need to be restricted to stuff that is actually on the cert test.
If you can write those up we would put the questions out to be looked over and tweaked. Then I quess it would be Marilyn who would put the questions into a game program.
Then we would need to modify the Game page to allow either game to be selected.
If you wrote the questions the rest would get done fairly quickly I bet.
Thanks . . . .

Does this statement mean questions should be limited to the scope of the objectives defined by Sun?

yeah - what HE said .

I'm going to start learning server-side stuff and take the SCWCD exam, so I would be willing to help create questions for this. But I like to take my time with these things so I don't expect I'll actually be taking the test for at least 6 months. But lots of time to study!

Rufus has taken charge of this project. Get in touch with him. I expect that he would like some draft reviewer help before he offers his efforts up in public .

Thanks for the time and effort!
