I'm chipping away at the developer cert and have a question for those who have completed or in process of completing the cert. The instructions state that you may extend or modify the suncertify.db.Data class in order to provide the criteriaFind(), lock(), and unlock() methods. I'm looking at a solution that creates an interface with the supported database methods, such as add(), modify(),etc and a new database class that implements this interface and delegates most of the work to the supplied suncertify.db.Data class. To me, this is not really extending (as in extends) or modifying. Thoughts on whether this a suitable form of extending?
