Hi,I am really new to Swing, new to RMI,also only has a bit of JDBC knowledge.
Am I suitable for this Developer Test?Is the test seems difficult?I have little experience about the software developing, about how to design GUI.
I don't know whether I will be qualified for the test after I have learnt some basic knowledge of RMI and SWing.
I need your advice?Your comment will be greatly appreciated.
Thanx.

Richard,
I have worked with swing/rmi and other technologies for sometime now. However, while doing this assingment I learnt a lot of stuff that I either took for granted or never did question why.
The assignment as you might be aware has no deadline. It is a learning process. If you have been exposed to the java language enough to have cleared the programmer certification, the developer certification is definitely worth a shot. The exam is so designed and architected that the possible solution are so numerous and really interesting to explore. Its good fun.
Swing, RMI etc are after all just api's based on the java language, you can easily get a grasp on them while doing the assignment.
Hope this helps...regards Kalichar
