hi everyone,
I look up lots of related topic on this forum.
I want to confirm the policy file.
1. in the client
System.setSecurityManager(new RMISecurityManager());
And the cliet.policy file is:
grant
{ permission java.security.AllPermission;
};
the question is AllPermission is right?
2. in the server
I didn't use anything.
the question is whether it needs setSecurityManager and a policy file
if it is necessary, what the content should be in policy file?
Can anyone help? thanks!
stephen

I think the policy on the server needs to allow to open a file and to accept socket connection.
I use all-granting policy file for the server and for the client parts.
