hi guys. well i'am almost at the last stage and having a small glitch in code.
my design is having a Timer to clean up the stale locks. so in my lock manager i'am storing all the records with the time at which the lock has taken place. for getting time i'am using the date class and using its getTime function.
but when i trioed to test my code for lock(-1), i saw that the collection in which i store the record lock and the time of lock did not have 24 enteries but less than that. The reason of that is that the getTime did not give a new time. It behaves in a strange fashion.
sometimes my collection will have 5 enteries some times 4 and so on.
what have u guys done , can you throw some light on my problem
