programmer ID?

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hi,
Someone mentioned we need to use our programmer
ID to pack the final submission jar file: something like scjd1234567.jar?
What is it? I don't see I get one when I downloaded it. I also don't see this requirement in our assignment.

This is from an old post:

Pulled from https://www.galton.com/~sun_ss/assign.idc
Upload instructions for the Java 2 exam:
Submitting Your Work
When you have completed your solution, you should build a jar archive. You must build an archive; do not send individual files.
The name of your submission archive file MUST be derived from your
i.d. as shown here. (Note that in the United States, your i.d. is your 9-digit social security number, e.g. 555443333. Outside the U.S., your i.d. might be 9 digits, or it might be 2 characters followed by 7 digits, e.g. sp1234567.) Your archive filename MUST BE scjda-AAAAAAAAA.ZZZ, where AAAAAAAAA is your i.d., and
ZZZ is the appropriate filename extension for your archive type
(zip, tar, or jar).

Does the new assignment version requires this naming convention? Or we can name it any way we want? My download instructions did mention "build
a jar archive", but never mention how to name it.

Holmes,
Yes, you must still use the same naming comvention for your upload. When you go to upload at http://www.certmanager.net/sun/ it will give you the instructions. You can go there and read hem without uploading. I would recommend that, to make sure your permissions are set by Sun. It seems many people, including myself, had problems with that.
