HOw invoke a method of data class?

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hi,
I am new to RMI.
and so am totally confused about the following.
The Data class has not implemented the Serializable interface
so how the methods of the Data object can be called from the client?
Is it possible to return a Data object from a method of a RemoteObject
Please help me.
regards
Manish

You need to read this:
Applying the Factory Pattern to RMI
When you have read it, then you have 'ProductImpl' witch in you case is a proxy object that implements the public methods of 'Data'

Thanks Rene

so there will be a wrapper class, that will have an object of the Data class and all the public methods of the Data class will be implemented in in this wrapper class. and then the implemented method will call the corresponding methods of the Data class..
Am I right?
