Patterns in user interface

Hi,
Do you think it is necessary to use design patterns in the user interface (Command, Observer...)? Or is it just enough if you have one listener class for all the user input?

Hi Jukka,
Don't use patterns just for the sake of using them, use them because they make sense in a particular situation. I used three patterns in my client design: Facade, Observer and Mediator. Your design will probably dictate the use of some other combination of patterns. Just remember that the main goal in the use of patterns is to make your software components reusable.
