What conversion tool ?

Heya
Downloaded the assignement this morning. It's FBN. But nowhere does it say anything about any conversion tool. Am I missing something or is that not just beeing different assignements, the same assignement can differs for different "candidates" ?

Hi Torgny,
hope you are not talking abut the beta exam ..
if you are not then dont worry abut the conversion tools .. that was for the old version of scjd exam for the current one its not needed

Hi Torgny,
The conversion tool was required in a previous version of the test. It is no longer required.

Good, thx for that.
Now pls enlight me on the subject of "... Assignement for Java 2" vs "... for the Java 2 platform (BETA)" as two of the options at the certmanager site are.

Hi Torgny,
The Beta version is just that: a beta test for use with the new Java 1.4 platform. If you have purchased a voucher to become a Sun Certified Developer then you don't want the beta test. You couldn't take it anyway becuase the signup deadline has come and gone.
