Should the total cost (price per seat * number of seats to book) be an integer or float value?

The ticket prices are all in whole $'s...
If Sun wanted to make you spend a year on this (in which case, nobody would take the trouble to become certified), they'd have you create a table of individual state (and country...) taxes, and figure in tax...

Thanks Thomas,
It's funny that you mentioned spending a year on this assignment. I've actually had the assignment for over a year (I have to write a conversion program in mine). Things just came up, and I never got around to working on it. Until now.

Hi, John,
Don't feel bad about spending so much time on this. I have downloaded the project a little more than a year ago as well But I guess mine is later than yours since I did not have the converter in my requirement . I am planning to finish it up sometime soon, but I kept on changing little things at the last minute, which might drag things as well

Thanks for the encouragement Christy. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one out there with a project over a year old. Could it be...could I have the oldest outstanding unfinished project in the group (at least one that requires the conversion program)?
I'm not too worried about being so slow. Like you I'll probably being doing a lot of tweaks as I prepare the project for submission. I'm just glad that there is no expiration date. It's nice to be able to actively work on it again. And with the help of this group, I plan to have the project completed before it's two years old.
