if i have a MVC design in mind, where would criteriaFIND() be located ?
Is it at the Data class/ subclass of Data OR
at the client's facade class ??

the requirements state that you must add criteriaFind method to the Data class. However, this doesn't stop you from creating helper classes to help the Data class do the function.
Actually the helper classes could do almost all the work for the Data class.
But not in the client.
