Ok this is the solution to my previous post called : "Strange exception when mouse passes over JEditorPane's scrollbar " ...
It is a bug ! Known from 1.3.1 but only solved in version 1.4.1. It is known as bug 4479148.
NPE when frameset is rendered in JEditorPane.
