Hi Guys;
i have chosen RMI for my assignment, but to be quite confident of my decision: i am looking for some points, that distinguish RMI fom Object Serialization, or why RMI is best to go for ?

Thankx

Well, take a stab. The important thing is that you come up with your reasons; in the assignment, there's often no such thing as "the right answer".
Now that you've chosen RMI, how will you approach things? What are your challenges? The requirements state that you will need a Data-like object on the client, how are you going to do this? How is threading and locking (client ID) handled?
If you'd have chosen object serialization, how would you have approached things? What would the Data-like object look like? How would threading have complicated your server design? How would locking and identifying clients have worked?
