For my "Flight by night" assignment I have chosen to use RMI like most of you guys have. BUT i don't use the rmiregistry (not started from either code or console), and I don't do any lookup...
Instead I use a ServerSocket that creates the remote interface and sends a stub back to the client.
The reason for this "design" is that I simply didn't like the factory-approach with two interfaces. But I'm not sure if I dare use this... The assignment says that you should use either RMI OR sockets, will this make me fail?
Can anyone please comment this!
