Hi,
In my gui, i have the book button in the south.
And i set frame size like this,
frm.setSize(900,700);
By this, each time i start my gui, i need to maximise the gui window. Otherwise i cannot see the book button in the bottom.
I know its a problem, but should i change the frame size? or ask the examiner to maximise the window?
thanks,
sri

Your button, as well as other controls, should be visible at all times. If your control(s) get obscured when you resize the frame, you are not doing something right. Maybe your layout manager parameters are not properly specified, or it could be that you simply need to control the minimum frame size.
Eugene.
