I just finished the Programmer exam a few hours ago, and will now focus on the developer Certification.
I have read some discussions on the developer certification previously, and they mention network & database programming. Does this mean that we need our own computer network and Oracle Database Server to complete the assignment ?
I checked the Developer FAQ in JavaRanch, as well as all of the postings in the Developer forum, but I can't find any information on this topic.
Thanks for any info.

There is no specific hardware requirement: you just need to test the submitted application on a production version of the J2SE platform. No specific database requirement either. The assignment jar comes with detailed instructions on what you need to do.

Thanks for the info.
Obviously you need some type of setup to test your Developer application though ?
