Hi All,
how could i be handling the date issue when someone chooses to reserve on a given date. the db.db file also doesnt have a date field. doesnt this mean that there is no history data required on the reservation data. like how many people fled on a given date to some destination X on flight F??
also where would i be capturing the passengar details . because db.db is coupled to the flight details or does i need to have one more data file for the passengar details or it is altogether not required .

please help!!!
regards,
aadhi

Don't worry about it. Stick to the given database structure and the instructions.

thanks++ for the prompt reply. does this means that the flight can't be reserved for a future week date. for example, a passenger says that he wants to book a flight on a given friday and says "book me the flight for the next friday".
also regarding the passengar detail capturing , is it not at all required , i will be happy to know so

There is no "Friday" in this assignment, forget about date and passenger tracking. The only input that goes in is the number of seats to book and the flight number. Just do exactly what they ask you to: search flights (by displaying the results in JTable) and book flights (by modifying the "available seats" field in the database db.db).
