Howdy all, we've posted a third chapter from the Developer part of the book at:
http://www.wickedlysmart.com/certpdfs/ch12.pdf
(you have to type in this exact URL; there is no link to it)
It's a small one on writing clear and maintainable code.
Most of it will be nothing new for you, but I'd still suggest taking EVERYTHING to heart. These are things dear to the person assessing your assignment
You can use it as a simple checklist before, during, and after you design and write code.
Cheers and good luck to all!

p.s., if you have colleagues or friends who are just beginning to learn Java, we have a very unusual (and fun) beginning Java book from O'Reilly coming in the spring. It is a new format series for O'Reilly, and if you're interested in seeing what the format is about (or if there are any potential authors out there) go to the Wickedlysmart.com main page and click on the "Are you ready for HeadFirst Java?" (click here) graphic.
From there you can look at a rough draft of O'Reilly's cover (it won't look like any O'Reilly book you have ever seen and you can choose a PDF to download that talks about the format. We will have a sample chapter posted soon. Again, this is much too beginning for any of you, but you might know people.
thanks

Thanks, Kathy! And... keep em' coming. I like the way you write. Clear, easy to understand, and makes a heck of a lot of sense!
I don't suppose y'all are working on an SCEA book?
