Hi all!
Going to take the written exam tomorrow(bit nervous..) and got to think of my design! I didn't use any patterns execpt MVC for the JTable. Is this OK???
All I did for the clientpart was a GUI and a Client class. The Client was responsible for the listeners, the table model etc for the GUI plus it handled all the access(book/search) for remote and local mode. The Gui only drew the components.
All works fine but 'm beginning to wonder if I will lose any points over this???
Anyone else ignored patterns???

Hi,
did you do well in the written exam???
about patterns, they are not only for putting in your documents but they are fore reuseablity, decoupling and easy maintenance for the project itself.
You need to think as an object oriented programmer.
My opinion, and I don't want to break your wings, Yes, I think you will lose some points.
I hope hear from you soon...
cheers

Hi Qusay!
The written exam was a piece of cake
Dont worry about it at all, took me 20min to answer the questions.
I suspect that I may loose a few points for the absence of patterns in the assignment but I dont think they will fail me! I hope....
Should recieve the result next week so I will post it as soon as I get it.

Got my score yesterday and since i got 149 it seems that patterns isn't a requirement
I guess they are very openminded on how the application is designed.
