DropDown Box for Origin or Destination OK?

Is this acceptable to have a drop-down of all the origins and destinations available? Then just include 'Any' in both drop down lists?
Has anyone done this before???

I used dropdowns with appropriate getters on the services layer. Have not submitted the code, so the validity of this is yet to be proved.
It follows that limiting the UI user to only valid values (not letting them get into trouble) is a sound approach.

evaluators do indeed like dropdowns
