I have set the mnemonic using the statement below. makeReservation.setMnemonic(KeyEvent.VK_M).
This works fine in windows, In solaris the mnemonic does not work. What should I do for this. Please help.
Thanks.

Do you have to get it running on all platforms? If it's working fine on a windows JVM all you need to do, is make sure that you mention that in your documentation and be sure that it is a production version of java compiler that you use.
I dont think you need to worry about other platforms.
