Hi all,
For the SCJD assignment, need we cater the case that a remote client call modifiy/delete method directly on a record which is locked by another remote client ? Need us implement implicit locking for this case ( that means the modify method will acquire the record lock before the actual modification is performed )?
The assignment said that the locking API usage should be "lock - read - modify - unlock". Does this mean we can safely ignore the above case ?
Please advise. Thank you very much.

Best Wishes,
Wilson

The client will only call modify in a booking situation, so you already have that handled. And there won't be any calls by the client to delete, so you don't have to worry about that either.
Godd Luck
