Manifest.MF is not generate correctly

hi there, i am using window XP and j2sdk1.4.1_02
i have created a jar with
jar -cvfm sempleproject.jar Manifest.MF -C classes .
Manifest-Version: 1.0
Main-Class: sampleproject.gui.Application
in the sempleproject.jar
the only information that generate in meta-inf/ is below( after i unzip it )
Manifest-Version: 1.0
Created-By: 1.4.1_02 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)
p/s had tried 1.3.1, 1.3.1_8)
if anyone have any ideal please let me know

Here is my jar command that I used.
jar -cvfm server.jar c:\devexam\manifest\server\ suncertify\db\*.class suncertify\server\*.class suncertify\help\*.class

Now it is possible in what happened to yours was that you didn't specify the path to where the file is that you created.
So instead it created its own, which was wrong.
You also had a -C before the classes. What is this for?
