Hello
I just decide to take the SCJD exam. But I need your advises.
I didn't prepare anything yet specicially for the exam, However I know java programming and I've been writing different kind of application.
So, should I go ahead and by the voucher and get the assignmenet and review and write the code in the same time or should I wait until I go over the ojectives first.
thanks.

Hi Jamel:
I started my assignment about a month ago, and had the same concerns. I recommend you get the book "The Sun Certified Java Developer Exam with J2SE 1.4" and scope out the effor involved. My concern was the GUI guidelines (ie.w., 5 pixels between compoents, etc), and the coding guidelines. I think you should be familiar with these before you start, or you might end up with a lot of redo.

For GUI guidelines look at http://java.sun.com/products/jlf/ed2/guidelines.html for the sun guidelines.

Thank you Bob
I wish you good luck.
As you said I just got the book of Mehran Hbibi. I will do the example in the book before the assignment.
I do appreciate your honesty.
Thanks
