Hi Folks,
Finally I finished my assignment; I hope is not too late since I have been working on this project for almost a year....
Here is how my JAR file look like:
[SCJD-AAAAAAAAA.jar]
|
|---classes << bin code >>
| |----suncertify
| |----db
| | |-[allRelatedClasses]
| |----server
| | |-[allRelatedClasses]
| |----client
| | |-[allRelatedClasses]
| |----resources
| | |-Documentation(HTML)
|
|---src << source code >>
|----suncertify
|----db
| |-[allRelatedClasses]
|----server
| |-[allRelatedClasses]
|----client
| |-[allRelatedClasses]
The examiner will execute both programs programs (client & server) from [instalationdir]/classes.
As you can see I AM NOT USING SECURITY MANAGER POLICY FILE. That is where my LAST question arises. It is necessary to define security policies and provide the files related to them?

Thanks,
JoseL

No security Policy needed. that is the way it should be, and actually in the new assignment that is one of the requirements in the instructions.html. The new assignment states that no Security Manager is to be set up and no policy file.
Good Luck. It is not too late.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
