Any recomendations on a Java IDE for the SCJD
exam. I have used JCreator which is very user
friendly but no debug. I have tried JBuilder
but it seems so cumbersome. Any other suggestions.

Hi Bill:
Eclipse is a good choice: www.eclipse.org. It's an open source development platform donated by IBM. It lacks the GUI design features of JBuilder Pro, but you're no supposed to use those for the SCJD anyway.

Both are excellent IDE's. However, my suggestion is not to use any IDE. You'll learn more and you won't risk having any inadvertent third party jars.
But yes, JCreator especially does rock
