1.In my document description that part of my assignment, have this sentence:
Provide javadoc documentation for all classes you write.
But it told me create a full suite of docuemntation for the classes of the completed project before. Why it appear it again? Maybe they are diffrent?
2.There is a read() method in my DBMain.java file in my assignment. It returns a array of string and has a comment line as follows:
Reads a record from the file.Returns an array where each element is a record values.
What's "a record values"? Whether it is one field in the record?
3.There are several method int the DBMain.java file use record number as it's parameter. But in my db.db file, I cann't find a field describes record number. How can define this record number?
Thanx someone to answer my qustions.
Thanx again!

Hi Leo,
But it told me create a full suite of docuemntation for the classes of the completed project before. Why it appear it again? Maybe they are diffrent?

Both instructions are in the same paragraph. Specifically:
The code itself should be as clear as possible; do not provide comments that do not add to the comprehensibility of the code. Awkward or complex code should have descriptive comments, and javadoc style comments must be used for each element of the public interface of each class. You must create a full suite of documentation for the classes of the completed project. This must be generated using the tool "javadoc" and must be in HTML format. Provide javadoc documentation for all classes you write.
My take is that they are just trying to be explicit on what you have to do, so the slight repitition is just to make sure you understand that you do have to write Javadoc documentation on everything you write.

Instruction Reads a record from the file.Returns an array where each element is a record values.
Leo What's "a record values"? Whether it is one field in the record?

Correct. Each field in the record will be returned in one element of the array.
There are several method int the DBMain.java file use record number as it's parameter. But in my db.db file, I cann't find a field describes record number. How can define this record number?

Here's some threads that discuss this:
  • nx: Data file format question (contractors)
  • recNo missing in UrlyBird 1.2.3
  • NX: Question from a rookie: contractor assignment
