Hi all,
the instructions allow to provide an online help.
What is the usual practice to do this?
The JavaHelp Technology provided by Sun cannot be meant, because the use of additional jar-files is not allowed.
My first idea was to write the userguide.html, and to show it in a JTextPane.
Thanks for all suggestions.
Werner

Hi Werner,
I used a JEditorPane to display my help files (it already knows how to display HTML (and other) formats, so half the work is done).
Having the online help as standalone HTML files also has the advantage that a user can view them with their favourite browser if they don't want to use your online help - just an added user friendly feature at no cost to us ).
Regards, Andrew
