Hi,
I'm a little bit afraid of the documentation, I haven't started allready with it, but perhaps you can report your own experiences?
Beside javadoc, we have to provide a basic user documentation. But about this I will care
at the end of my assignement. So now I will reduce my questions to choices.txt.
In other threads I have read about it, but I can't read anything about it in my submission.
Do you create this file as an add-on, a supplement to describe your own decisions?
How long might it be and how have you structured it?(Perhaps divided in the three parts: Data-Layer, Network-Layer, Client-layer?)
Have you worked it out at the end of your project or step-by-step following the progression of the project?
Thanks in advance for your help
Regards
Ulrich

I will start my choises.txt on the weekend, so I can't give the best answer,
but I personally will divide it on around 14 topics like:
Locking, Adapter, ExceptionHandling, Client GUI, User Interface, Network Approach and so on.
I will honestly write all corner stonesd I had taking decisions and why I have done the way I did. I will write it actually in the way we discuss all the problems here.
Example:
Locking: simple locking, because Andrew said "make it simple"
GUI Client: multi threaded, because Andrew said "make it easy"
Data Store: NIO, because Max and Jim said take a challenge
Network Approach: RMI, because Phil doesn't like it
...

Best,
Vlad
