Ok i tried to upload the assignmnet, complained that i didnt have the rights to upload the assignment. i ve mailed prometric.
I was looking through the certmanager and i looked through my cert progress. I clicked through to "Suncertified java developer for Java 2 Platform". I saw the list of requirements and what i have completed so far for that particular cert. i see only CX-310-027 unchecked (this is the theory exam i am supposed to take after my assignment upload). I dont see CX-310-252A which is the part 1 for SCJD (assignment part). Weird. IS that why i dont have the rights to upload? Anyone?

Hi Arun,
That is interesting, but I don't think it is the issue.
It seems that everyone has the same problem - they cannot upload until after they contact Sun/Prometric to say that they need to do the upload. We even have a FAQ for this.
My theory is that each person's account is set to allow one action at a time only. At present your account is set to allow you to "download SCJD". And you can download it as many times as you like. People who were working on the FBNS assignment after the new assignments came out were still able to download, and most found that they got a new assignment the second time they downloaded (which is how I got a copy of URLyBird ). Once you have contacted Prometric, your account status is changed, and you can no longer download any assignments - you can only upload your SCJD assignment.
Regards, Andrew

Thanks Andrew,
I ve mailed suncert@prometric.com and who2contact@central.sun.com.
A question about the part 2 of SCJD.
I read that there will be 4 questions to answer. But the time given is 120 minutes for this exam. Will it take that long to answer 4 questions. And how long an answer is expected. I mean i really dont know why 120 minutes is given

Arun, it might take you at most 30 minutes. It is really easy and you will breeze through it.
