I have uploaded my programs for the assignment part.
I wanna prepare the essay exam now.
However, I wanna ask, what will be the Qs look like in the exam?
Any references are useful?
Thanks

Hi Syusuke,
Welcome to JavaRanch.
The essay exam is really easy. Everything they ask about you will have almost certainly covered in your design decisions document. (Which gives you a big hint on how to prepare for the exam: read your design decisions document )
It is an essay exam. So you will see a one line question, and a big text field where you can write your answer.
The types of questions are all "did you choose to do 'x' or 'y', and why did you do it", or "how have you catered for 'xxx' requirement".
For example, if the instructions stated that we must choose one of Visual Basic or Java to write the applications, a typical question would be "which did you choose, Visual Basic or Java, and why?"
The exam is basically to prove that you wrote the assignment that was uploaded. You have to prove your identity to the company administering the exam, and then as long as the answers you give match your design decisions document - you pass.
So when you answer the questions, try and keep it as close to what you wrote in the design document, or as close to what you really did in your application.
Good luck.
Regards, Andrew

Hi Andrew,
"how have you catered for 'xxx' requirement".

What does it mean "cater"?

Hi Vlad,
quote:"how have you catered for 'xxx' requirement".
What does it mean "cater"?

With the help of my english-french dictionary, it looks like something between "What did you provide for 'xxx' requirement" and "How did you care for 'xxx' requirement", but I am unsure myself.
Anyway Vlad, for the essay, I suggest you to just skip all questions you don't understand... )
Best and good luck,
Phil.

Yep - that would be a decent translation.
Or "how did you fulfill requirement 'xxx'".
Only 4 questions ... should be easy. Good luck.
