Should I delete that record after booking it? If not, how can I know whether a record is booked or not? In another word, what should I do in a when a customer book a room in non-networked mode, it seems like that I should do nothing.
And, about update, according to my instruction, each record contains a customer id field, how can I know the customers IDs? And, if there is ID, does it mean the room was booked by somebody? And, should my update method contains this ID field for updating as well?
Thank you.

Hi HaoZhe,
To book a record you set a value to the customer field. Don't delete it!
If customer field is not empty it is booked.
To check if a room is booked you have to check if the customer field is filled.
The customer ID is set by an operator (end-user). It is a number. The operator knows customer ID. All what your program has to do is to save it to the appropriate field in the file, to book the record.
Best,
Vlad
