In the database schema in the instruction, there're descriptive name(e.g. Hotel Name, Max occupancy of the room, Smoking, etc) and field name(e.g. name, size, smoking, etc), which should I put on the table's header? It seems I should use field name, but I think the descriptive name is more easier to understand.
Thank you.

If you've designed your application to depend on the schema section of the database file, then you're limited to using the actual field names. In this case your application is data-driven and you only have access to the field names (since I don't think the descriptions are contained in the database file).
Instead if you're hard-coding field info you could use the more descriptive name in the table column header. However, there's something to be said for brevity in the column names, since they will influence the width of the column. If you don't want to make the choice here's a thought: put the actual field names in the table column header and attach tool tips to the table column header that give the longer field description.
Hope this helps,
George
