For those of you who received the SCJD results after the new database integral7 was introduced, could you see your SCJD grade in the new database integral7? I received my result on 29 Dec 2003 and could view my SCJD grade + comments in the Assignment Watcher (old database). However, not even an indication of passing SCJD exam or mailing out the certification kit could be seen in the Integral7 (new database). Is this normal? Usually, how long will it take to process a certificate? And could I rely on the new database to trace the status of the certification kit?
Thanks.
Joyce

According to the FAQ at http://training.sun.com/US/certification/faq/#assignment the score should appear in the I7 database about the same time as in the assignment watcher.
I however have the exact same experience as you. I also received my results in the assignment watcher 29-dec-2003 and there's still nothing in the I7 database today. I mailed who2contact@sun.com about it two days ago and I'm still waiting for a reply.

Hi,
I received my exam result in the assignment watcher Dec/11 and there is still nothing in the Integral7.
I sent an email to who2contact and they said me that they are changing the database, the process is slow.
Ah! My certificate kit still didn't arrive.

My result was logged in on Jan. 8th in the old cert database, and still
no entry in the Integral7 database.
I am still waiting for my kit as well.

Thanks SUN for rewarding the hard work by
those who pay ~$400 for your certificates. Way
to be on the ball.

At the company I work for there is a person responsible for education (arranging seminars and all that). She has a contact person at Sun. I got her to call him, and he said that there is only one person at sun in charge of replying to mail for who2contact (go figure), and right now that person has a backlog of 6-800 emails... So it might take a while.
Of course the contact person is not completely reliable as he seems to have no clue whatsoever which of the two databases contains what information and have also given wrong information in the past. So the above might not be correct.

Whew, I'm so glad that SunCert@prometric.com has finally replied.
Here it is:
-------------
Dear Joyce,
Thank you for contacting Prometric, a Thomson business.

Unfortunately, certificates for SCEA and SCJD cannot be processed until the i-7 database is fully updated with the results. We do not have an ETA for resolution at this time. We are tracking all affected candidates, and will respond when we have resolution.

Thank you for your continued patience in this matter.

Sincerely,
Shareon
