I saw something somewhere (maybe the Certification Results forum) that the wait for fixing permissions was about 2 days. I took me about a week to get the permissions fixed earlier this month. Based on your comment it looks like it's taking longer than 2 days now. Anyway, I would guess it shouldn't take longer than a week. What can I say? This amazes me, but then many things amaze me. By the way, you should at least have received a canned auto-reply saying something like we are currently backed-up dealing with e-mail sent after such and such a date. They may even give an estimated time for servicing your request in the auto-reply. If you haven't gotten an auto-reply yet then things are worse than they were before (insert more amazement here). I would be tempted to check the address to which you sent your request to make sure it went to the right place (should be SunCert@Prometric.com I believe).
Hope this helps,
I requested permission to upload on Wednesday, Jan. 21 and got the canned reply. Then, on Thursday, Jan. 22 I got a real reply that they did it. I haven't uploaded yet because I'm not ready, but I wanted to get the permission granted early so I don't have to wait for them when I become ready.
Did you get the original canned reply? I think mine said something about them only doing upload/download requests every other day.
My guess is yours got lost in the shuffle somewhere if you are still waiting after 8 days.
Just fyi, here is the info from my original email request to them. Hopefully you provided them with everything they need.
