Hi Guys, Am trying to go to java.sun.com and also wants to look up the API's. But it seems the site is down from yesterday itself. Where can I reference the 1.4 API other than sun's site? I did not download it before, I should have done that
Thanks.

Hi Satish,
I hope Sun get their site back up, or that someone can tell you another location where you can download the APIs.
As a last ditch effort you can use Google's cache to look it up. Basically you have to know the URL for the page you want, and can then enter it into a query of the form:
http://www.google.com.au/search?q=cache:java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/allclasses-frame.html
(that should list all the classes in the 1.4.2 API).
So if you wanted to look up the API for Sockets you would enter the URL
http://www.google.com.au/search?q=cache:java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.1/docs/api/java/net/Socket.html
Good luck.
Regards, Andrew

Sorry, I do not remember any of the direct links. It seems that I have to wait... Also am working on the GUI part and I have no clue about any packages except javax.swing and javax.swing.text and some others.
