NX: Location of database in networked mode

My instructions require that the location of the database needs to be specified for networked mode but also accept an indication that a local database is to be used and thus networking is bypassed and local mode is used.
Does this mean that if the user enters "localhost" for the server host name in the networked configuration, then local (non-networked) mode should be used? If this is the case, how do you test the networked mode if you only have one computer?
Thanks,
TH

I think NO. In the local mode, no network code is used. The GUI directly conects to the back-end data access class.

If this is the case, how do you test the networked mode if you only have one computer?

Database location
You can do a search on "database location" too and find additional information here.

Thanks Satish for your help! I had a look at your link and it finally made sense. Actually, it is quite a simple instruction but I think I was looking too deeply into it and so got confused.
