Why DBAccess is not a valid Remote interface?

I use the rmic to generate the stub for remote interface,but there are error. Can I change the DBAccess interface from SUN?

Hi Long, Its not advisable to change the given interface. But you can try to implement a new interface which extends DBAccess and use it. Or you can create a new interface which has only business methods that are required by client, then use it in RMI. And depending on the design, there are many ways to do this.

Should I create a new interface extending from remote,but not extend from DBAccess?
