I also dont know any thing about topic out line of both certifications.
Please some one guide me.
and also please some one post me topic out line for both of certifications (SCJD+web component Certification)
i will be great ful to you people.
@R A Uppal.
I have a doubt regarding whether your certification is still valid or not because starting August 2003, Sun made all certifications valid depending on the version. But if anyone has taken the exam prior to that, then the invaildation holds for them. I am not sure whether your certification is invalid or not, but I pretty much doubt it. Probably you can take the upgrade exam or you can write the SCJP again. You can go to Sun's website to find out.
Coming to which certifiation to take both are totally different in my opinion. If you are working in
J2EE, then it is better that you go for SCWCD as it covers
JSP and Servlets.
SCJD is completely based on J2SE and its a very lengthy process. If I were you, I would go for SCWCD as it will be very helpful at job too. SCJD is one where we have to do a project using swing, RMI, Threading concepts and other. When you are working in J2EE field, I don't think these will help in any manner to you and your career. But its only my opinion.
Again, I suggest you to make sure whether your certification is valid or not before starting preparing for a different exam. If not, you can take SCJP again or take a upgrade exam and go for next one as SCJP is pre-requiste for both exams you mentioned.
Good Luck to you.
