Hello everybody
Ive come across a problem I have the client side of the B&S application up and running no problems however, on the server side when trying to implement Suns provided interface DBAccess I run into problems, I cant throw the remote exception as its not defined in the interface.
I know this problem has been posted many times and Ive searched the archives however Im yet to find a satisfatory solution. The only one I can come up with is to change the provided interface to throw RemoteExceptions however A. I think this is ugly and B. I think this is not allowed.
Can anybody advise.......Please..
Thanks

You're right about not changing the provided interface. One solution is to create a new interface. This thread discusses that solution:
Topic: A complicated database design...
A word of warning: please disregard my bogus argument concerning "implictly implementing an interface." The other ideas are reasonably sound and might be helpful to you. If you have any additional questions let me know.
