About a week ago someone was asking whether there was any point to the request that people doing the new assignments prefix their posts with "NX:".
(The new assignments are: "URLyBird Hotel Bookings" and "Bodgitt & Scarper home improvement contractors". They were introduced by Sun around April 2003 - prior to that everyone got the "old" "Fly By Night Services" airline bookings assignment.)
Around the same time as the question about "NX:" was asked, two or three people posted questions about the Fly By Night Services assignment, which were not understood by those doing the new assignments - the questions being asked just do not apply to the new assignments.
We originally had the rule about "NX:" to try and reduce the confusion when someone asks a question that does not apply to the majority of readers of this forum. But now the tables have turned: the majority of contributors to this forum are doing the new assignments.
After discussion with the other bartenders, we have agreed to change the rule around to meet the current situation.
So people doing the new assignments no longer have to put any prefix on their posts. It will be assumed that they are doing either the Hotel or Contractors assignments.
People doing the old Fly By Night Services assignment are requested to prefix their post titles with "FBNS: " so we can easily see which assignment they are doing.
(Of course, those doing FBNS have been posting in this forum for well over a year without using any prefix, so it is likely they will not notice the new rule and confusion will reign again  )
Regards, Andrew

I think this is a good idea! I always used to forget to put NX on my questions anyway
